Hanuman

Here’s a piece I did for my website. I actually painted him on a white background. Which you can see here on my homepage:

I added the cloud background to make a bit more complete. I’d say it’s about 90% done. Still need to get rid of the “cut out” look and do a few more tweaks. But I’m happy with it overall! The character if anyone’s interested is “Hanuman” a major character in the Hindu myth Ramayana.

Plus I like Monkeys.

Red Dragon Codex

Here's a cover illo for the "Red Dragon Codex" I did for Mirrorstone books. (a imprint of Wizards of the Coast) Yes it's the most generic of fantasy subjects... a dragon... a red dragon. But I was happy with how it turned out. I had fun rendering his head and big muscular neck. Sexy...
They even made a little section for it on the Mirrorstone page (top left):

Holiday Card: Frost Fairy

Painted this guy up over my break... I didn't have time to print him on actual cards but used it on the Raven Software art blog. No digital, just my usual gouache style for this one.
